Describes a body, especially the belly, as thickly and heavily fleshed, with fat protruding or hanging outward.

Dogmatic Opinion
I picture a metabolic-looking belly with flesh resting over the top of a belt.
There is a sense not only of thickness but also of weight, and perhaps a little sagging.
Compared with softer or more flattering words such as POCCHA-RI or POTTE-RI, BOTTE-RI is much less delicate. The flesh looks physically heavy.

Thick, heavy-looking, fleshy, potbellied, and having a heavy belly may fit. For people, potbellied can be natural when the belly specifically protrudes. BOTTE-RI is not generally a flattering body description.
