Dogmatic Opinion
BACCHI-RI can often be replaced by KANPEKI (完璧, “perfect”), but BACCHI-RI is more conversational and upbeat. It gives a strong sense that the expected or desired state has been fully achieved: everything is ready, everything works, and there is no problem.
An old-fashioned joke combines BACCHI-RI with English “good” to make “bacchi-good,” shortened in Japanese to BATCHIGŪ (バッチグー). You may still hear it jokingly, but today it sounds distinctly dated and is associated mainly with older generations.
