Dogmatic Opinion
Perhaps PICCHO-RI is not actually a word at all. I cannot find it in dictionaries or much of anywhere online.
What I do find is a lot of material about a woman called Picchorina.
My PICCHO-RI is essentially CHOPPI-RI with the sounds rearranged. Somehow, in my head, it keeps CHOPPI-RI’s idea of “a tiny amount” while acquiring moisture.
So the imagined meaning is: very little water.
