Meanings

② The state of cutting or breaking something with vigorous force.
Also, the appearance of cuts and cracks that are disastrous and deep.
③ The weave or texture of a fabric is coarse and thick to the touch.

Dogmatic Opinion
When speed is more important than accuracy and detail, “Tell me just approximate.”
When I hear the word “Zakkuri” I think of large, fresh vegetables such as Chinese cabbage and watermelon, which are cut in half with a reasonably large blade.
Cutting or severing with a petty knife is not “Zakkuri”.
There is also no image of more than three divisions.
I get angry when a salesperson tells me, “Your choice of plan is, roughly(Zakkuri) speaking, one of the ABC’s.”
I’d like it to be something like, “Roughly(Zakkuri) speaking, A or B.”
