Meanings
① To be extremely similar(appearance)
Used about content, not only appearance.
② The state of everything in the same condition or all.
Examples
① My father and I look and behave exactly alike.
父と私は顔も仕草もそっくりだ。
② You say I’m “uncaring,” but I take that word back verbatim.
「気がきかない」と言うけれど、その言葉、そっくりそのままお返しするわ。
Dogmatic Opinion
It is used not only when they are similar in shape and appearance, but also when they are similar in content.
There is also the expression “Kurisotsu,”
which is a replacement of the word “Sokkuri”.
