Dogmatic Opinion
“Muttsuri” is like “Muttsuri Sukebei (lusty, lecher)” in the first place, acting as if you are not interested in sexual matters, gossip, and sexual topics in front of everyone, but actually liking them.
In the compliance-oriented working life, all sexually active people have to be lecherous.
Since it is an unchangeable fact that a person is lustful, simply saying “He is Muttsuri” or “You are Muttsuri” implies a hidden lustful nature.
On the other hand, “being Muttsuri now” (which it was not before) does not imply lustful, since the state of being unfriendly and having few words (Muttsuri) indicates a change to a moody state.
Spousal “Muttsuri” in a marriage are also a sign of “I don’t have to tell you why I’m in a bad mood.”
There is the misfortune of not being able to identify the cause of the moodiness at all because of the triviality of what usually seems to be a trivial matter.
