KICCHI-RI きっちり
Meanings
① The state in which there is no excess looseness or gaps. The appearance of being well arranged (packed).
② The state of being precise, certain, and complete without ambiguity.
③ The quantity, time, standard, etc., is in strict conformity with the quantity, time, standard, etc., with no fractions, excesses, or deficiencies.

Dogmatic Opinion
The word “Kicchiri” has a stronger image of to do what needs to be done properly, rather than to have no gaps.
Taking full（Kicchiri) responsibility is also based on the assumption that those in a position to take responsibility have made a mistake.
Closing a door tightly(KIcchiri) is also a situation where it is determined that there should not be a gap.
For example, in the case of “I was forcibly invited to the after-party of a wedding, and when I attended, I was made to pay exactly 10,000 yen”,
The emphasis is not on the fact that the fee is not 9,000 yen or 11,000 yen, but exactly 10,000 yen with no fractional part, but on the nuance of fulfilling one’s obligation, as in, “I thought I was invited to participate for free, but I was charged 10,000 yen as a matter of course as a participant.
The reason is that it would be desirable to match the quantity just as well as the meaning of the excesses and deficiencies of the quantity, etc.
“Shikkari” is included in “Kicchir.”
”Shikkari” lacks specificity, but “Kicchiri” has an image of a goal that can be measured, weighed, and scored.
When my wife tells me to “make sure(Shikkari) the dishes are on the table,” I don’t know what I’m supposed to do.
I get nervous when I am told to “line up the dishes exactly(Kicchiri),” because I feel like I have to pay close attention to every detail of the placement and the design of the dishes.
