Meanings
・A condition in which clothing is generally uncomfortably wet from sweat, rain, etc.
Examples
・I had a bad dream and my pajamas were soggy with night sweats.
悪い夢を見て、寝汗でパジャマがぐっしょり濡れていた。
・The baby wet the bed and the bed was soaked.
赤ちゃんがおねしょをして、ベッドがぐっしょり濡れた。
Dogmatic Opinion
The two words “Gusshori” and “Bisshori” are quite similar, but “Bisshori” seems to have a higher water content.
“Gusshori” is used when clothing/bedding gets wet.
“Sweat Bisshori” is man’s relationship with sweat.
The “Pajamas soaked with sweat(Bisshori)” is the relationship between the T-shirt and the sweat.
As described above, “Bisshori” can express the relationship between objects, humans, and moisture.
On the other hand, from the fact that “Gusshori” is said “Pajamas are soaked in sweat（Gusshori）” instead of “Body is soaked in sweat(Gusshori)”.
“Gusshori” may refer only to the relationship between things and sweat (moisture such as rain).
