Meanings
A space is filled with a lot of things (with no extra space inside of it), as if they are tightly squeezed into a certain space.
Examples
・Books are stored tightly in the bookshelves.
This week is jam-packed with plans.
My parents sent me a cardboard box full of food.
At a night market in Taiwan, stalls were lined up in a narrow space.
Dogmatic Opinion
The space is, of course, packed, but the premise of the space is a “closed space or section with a beginning and an end (bookshelf, bag, box, or space where a store can be opened)”.
It is not “Gisshiri” even if 100 stores stand side by side in a corner of the desert space as far as the eye can see.
In addition, while “Bisshiri” is arranged on a flat surface, “Gisshiri” is packed in a 3D space (vertically, horizontally, and diagonally).
