I don’t think it is actually appropriate that the translations are all “sticky”.
It is a state of unpleasant viscosity resulting from exceeding the appropriate moisture content.
When emphasizing “sticking” or “adhering,” “Becchori” is more appropriate than “Becchari “.
I think it is often used for undesirable food textures.
